Annette was a full-time photographer for 24 years. She has just retired and has gotten back into the world of fine art. Painting and just playing with all media that comes her way. If you have a favorite snapshot of your own or and old antique one you would liked painted then she is the one for you as well as creating original one of a kind art work
Annette was a pastel-oil tradional artist before becoming a professional photographer. Her work was juried to hang in the Hasgow Gallery in Dallas. She has been involved in the art field for over 40 years.
Annette studied art under Ben Konis, Albert Handell and Foster Caddell to name a few in pastel and oil media. Annette has studied photography under Joyce Wilson and beginning her photography adventure with Bill Weeks.
She is now back into the fine art field and enjoying it ever so much. Exploring all avenues that is coming her way.
As an artist, Annette will put her style of painting on canvas archival museum quality paper to match the feeling of the photograph. It will not be photographic but in a true painted style. She does paint it stroke by stroke adding artistic colors and strokes in sometimes a mixed media piece. This will truly be a one of a kind painting that you will proudly display for years to come.
Annette is creating Crazy Quilting/Patch creations. Taken from the Victorian times when life was so gentile, she creates designs fashioned into purses, pillows and even some pretty fancy bookmarks. Who knows where else this journey will take her.
